Lil Sticks Field Hockey

Program Overview

 

Our Lil’ Sticks Field Hockey Program is designed to give players a chance to learn the fundamentals of field hockey. Each week during the hour long class, players will work on their game through skills, drills, and scrimmaging. Come learn the basics or improve your game by mastering the fast paced nature of the sport of field hockey! For more information see the Lil’ Athletes Progression Chart Below.

 

Current session dates: Saturdays - 03/02/2024-05/11/2024

Next session dates: Saturdays - 05/18/2024-07/06/2024

Session Length: 8 weeks, 1 hour each week

Session Cost: $120 total

 

Participants will be divided into 2 age groups for teaching purposes.

 

Calf's 4-6 year olds Saturdays 9:00 am

In our Lil’ Calf program, each participant will get introduced to the sport by learning the basic skills and concepts/rules of the game. Every Lil’ Calf will work on passing, receiving, grip of the stick, dribbling and shooting. There will be teamwork involved mini-games as well individual drills.

Giraffes 7-12 year olds Saturdays 10:00 am

In our Lil’ Giraffes program, we are getting each participant ready to take the next step in evolving their overall skills. The mini-games and teamwork challenges in this program are made to enhance the overall awareness and feel for the sport.

 

Each Lil’ Giraffe will be working on passing, shooting, spacing, teamwork and decision making in game-like situations!

Players should wear comfortable clothes and bring a drink for water breaks!

**Refund Policy** NH Sportsplex does not offer refunds, (unless certain criteria is met) but does offer class credits to be used within the calendar year.
